



I offer 5 basic varietals consisting of: Sumatra, Costa Rican, Papua New Guinean, Colombian, and Guatemalan. On occasion, varietals from other origins are available. All of my coffees are drum roasted with each bag dated to guarantee freshness.
All coffee comes in vacuum sealed bags with one way valves to preserve the great taste. You can choose the desired grind and roast for your coffee. All coffee is available in either ½ or 1 pound bags, whole bean or ground. If you have a desire for something special I will try my best to accommodate your needs.

Listed below is a breakdown of each type of coffee offered with a little history about each type:
Sumatra: Sumatra Mandheling coffee is grown on the rich volcanic slopes on various islands located throughout the Indian Ocean. At an altitude of 2,500 to 5,000 feet, the Sumatra coffee is cultivated to maximum perfection. Due to the remote location these the coffee beans are hand picked with minimal use of modern machinery. You can be rest assured that the great gourmet flavor of these beans will be cherished by coffee connoisseurs and appreciated for the great taste that has made it famous.
Costa Rican: The same great conditions exist in Costa Rica as they do in the Sumatra regions. The main exception between the two regions is that the cold nights which are common in the high altitudes of Costa Rica are responsible for the slower development of the coffee trees. In combinations with slower development and rich volcanic soils, you will notice a fuller bright flavor. When brewing Costa Rica in house or café will be enriched with a full coffee aroma and the taste is silky yet robust. With these attributes this coffee will the be talk of the morning.
Papua New Guinea: Papua New Guinea coffee is grown on a Pacific Island near the continent of Australia. This coffee is closely related to the Sumatra because the regions are so close to one another. The exception is that Papua New Guinea coffee trees are exposed to cooler temperature at high altitudes giving the coffee a smooth rich taste with slight hints of chocolate. This coffee has an interesting brightness compared with other Sumatra coffee and with a heavy body and sweetness this coffee is sure to win you and your friends over.
Columbian: Colombian coffees are well balanced, medium bodied and bright. Colombian coffee is most commonly known because of the effectiveness of modern marking. One name comes to mind when you think of Columbian coffee, Juan Valdez. Colombian coffee is one of the richest coffees in the world. The brightness is medium to high, with a light appearance. The flavor of Columbian coffee is normally well balanced with a sweet tangy intense flavor. This is the common flavor that American coffee drinkers and the rest of the world have come to enjoy.
Guatemalan: Guatemalan coffees grown in the highest elevations typically around 4,500 feet. The wet six month rain season and shady climate attribute for the perfect full flavor that is perfect anytime of the day. This coffee is perfect for brewing coffee at home when company arrives at unannounced times. The brightness of this coffee is medium to high with a well balanced taste.
